A site-specific ceramic installation composed of more than 3,000 individually handcrafted tiles and developed through a close and ongoing dialogue with Hannes Peer. At the core of the installation lies an extensive phase of material research, focused on developing bespoke glazes and clay bodies capable of achieving a nuanced balance of texture, depth, and interaction with light. The chromatic palette brings together warm, earthy tones and more saturated blues and reds, creating a dialogue with the surrounding landscape: the flowing waters of the Adige and the vertical presence of the mountains. At the same time, it subtly recalls the material and decorative sensibilities of the 1960s.
